The Sun endorses the real Big Brother

Sorry about quoting something from the vile Sun, but to be honest I could not believe I was reading this.

"THERE is a REAL Big Brother watching us.
Look what happened when Mike Devine sent a text to a pal including the words "One jet airliner for 10 prisoners."
The words are from a 1970s song by The Clash, called Tommy Gun.
But it led to Special Branch calling on Mike to check him out.
Should we be alarmed that our spies and their computers are studying millions of texts a day?

Not at all. Better safe than sorry." (This was their strap line in bold)
