On 12-13 July, Liberty will be in the high court with a judicial review appeal of the police use of anti-terror searches at DSEI. Were you or your friends searched in London by police during/before the week of September 6th-12 "DSEI week"? Liberty needs your search receipts ASAP for the second stage of a High Court legal battle against the Metropolitan Police.

Liberty's first round of legal battle lost because they only had 25 anti-terror search receipts from activists searched in London. In order to win the appeal they will need more. Ideally these search receipts would be from the DSEi 2003 protests, but any London based event of protest where you were searched is needed.

Submit police search reciepts to Liberty by fax, post, or by hand. If you know when/where you were searched, but didn't receive a search receipt, you can get one by contacting the police. Send a copy of your police search record(s) by fax to 0207 407 5354 or by post/hand to Liberty at 21 Tabard Street, SE1 4LA (Borough Tube).

In addition to submitting your reciept, please submit completed search report forms soon (forms downloadable from Liberty's website). This information about your search will assist Liberty toward compiling a future report about the misuse of anti-terror searches.
