14 days vigilance...

Is there an intention to leaflet Low Edges (Beauchief/Greenhill ward) ? seeing as the little blighters are standing there, and from looking at the candidates list, all their fan-base ("nominees") for that candidate are from the community. Quite an isolated part of the city, also the main Terrortorial Army base is located there which encouraged a flags-out sense of nationalism during last year's Air-War against Iraq (Who needs the bnp when you've got the British State?).

In addition to the Green Party fielding "paper candidates" throughout the city (as the political opportunists they are) seems like they're putting extra work into canvassing the 5 areas where Bnp are standing... but it's essential that a educational "anti-fascist" leafleting spree takes place on such an estate as Low Edges.

The green party are using working class people as cannon fodder by doing a PR excersise throughout Sheffield and, let's face it, they'll forget all about 20+ of these council wards come June 10th - and concentrate on S7 etc. for the next 12 months: the perpeptual cycle of petty politcs: "We won't win, but we may increase the vote - as we did last year." Maybe we need some geographical exchange schemes to help stir up the reality a bit... "Help! I'm a political activist - Get me out of here!!"

someone phone up Channel 4 - Let's make some money!
