In the worst military assault on civilians since the Jenin massacre of April 2002, the Israeli Occupation Force — with the blessing of the Israeli High Court — have been attacking the Palestinian community of Rafah for over a week. Using military hardware and Caterpillar bulldozers supplied by and paid for by the USA, the IOF have left a trail of death and injuries, destruction and home demolitions.
Not surprisingly, the anger of the people on this protest at these barbarous atrocities could not be restrained by the crash barriers erected by the police for the purpose of control and containment. Scores of people poured onto the roadway of Whitehall and staged a spontaneous sit-down protest which temporarily blocked the southbound side of the road.

This protest was proceeded by the "End The Torture - Bring the Troops Home Now" demonstration and rally — for links to the photos I took of those events, see one of the comments at the foot of this page.
Hope to see you on future protests against the illegal and barbarous Israeli occupation. Meanwhile, share and enjoy these photos (see CopyLeft below).
