I should have also mentioned the odd appendage below the fuselage which to me, as a former aircraft mechanic, looks like a drop tank. But as far as I know civil aircraft have never been fitted with drop tanks.

This 'terrorist attack' was used as the pretext for two wars which involved the slaying of tens of thousands of innocent Afghan and Iraqi people.
