<nicovl> CANNES, France (Reuters) - After winning the top prize at Cannes for his anti-Bush documentary, American filmmaker Michael Moore said he hoped the President had not been eating a pretzel when he heard the news.

As much as I welcome Michael Moore's new film, I feel it is likely to fall far too short of exposing the real truth about September 11th. What is more, a defeat for Bush only means an almost certain victory for Kerry (if we are realistic).

So, what difference will that make? It's like Pepsi™ and Coke™, no discernible difference, both will rot your teeth and guts (metaphorically), all sugar and gas. Both these corporate slaves have pledged 'above all else' to serve the Order of Skull and Bones. Both of them are running only because corporate America (and elsewhere) have backed both horses each-way.

Yes, sure he is fat and crass, but he is working the edges of the US masses. He needs to be crass, his audience is crass. And they are in denial about how they got themselves a ex-alcoholic drug addict dummy with no brain as a president in a so-called democracy. Moore is making the truth digestible, in small lumps, by black humour and ridicule.
And the USUK blobs who fell for the Faux news type rubbish will get angry too. Moore is brave enough to stand up and risk the twisted insecurity of the gun nutters in the US.
Sure "Bush-lite" as Chomsky has labelled Kerry will be some more of the same to a degree, but not all the same. At least there will be a brain with President Kerry, and the loony PNAC psychopaths somehow re-educated or at least redendered harmless somehow, and soon maybe USUK will get a proper democracy with proportional representation and escape corporate fascism in the future.

as for the pundits who question Michael's integrity, earnings etc - it was bound to happen, now that he's moved from the sidelines into the mainstream, the American Right is starting to fear him.

The likes of Ann Coulter (right wing 'commentator' and pathological liar) have accused Michael Moore of abandoning the working class and swanning around in a limo. As someone who has bought his books and Bowling for Columbine on DVD, I have no problems with him making big money, it's up to me if I buy his stuff or not, and the guy is entitled to his royalties! What Ann, Rush (Limbaugh) and the other right wing nutters forget to mention is that Michael has asked for suggestions from the public via his website as to the best places to donate his tax cut - www.michaelmoore.com

This latest video evidence brings the total number of independent clips showing the impact of the second plane to hit the World Trade Centre to six. Each one depicts what appears to be the launch of a missile a fraction of a second before impact.
