For once I have to tell someone off for telling me to go left. From Kesnington Tube, turn right and proceed along the High Street, just past House of Fraser. You'll see a road with a police checkpoint on it, and you should protest on the High Street at the entrace to that road. The road is not public property (belongs to the crown) and anyone moving any closer than this will suffer searches and small risk of arrest.
