This is truly the News you don't see on the News ..." Cambridge Indymedia will be showing UNN at the Geldart pub on Sunday 19th September, 7.30 pm.

The Geldart is located on Ainsworth Street, near to Cafe Afrika, in between East Road and Mill Road - there's a map here.

From 1994 onwards a network of video activists known as Undercurrents documented some of the most important environmental and social justice stories. Now the project has been relaunched as the Undercurrents News Network. UNN is a series of short videos. It includes Occupation, which is about how student and worker protests at Harvard forced the university authorities to increase the pay of the workers. Woomera Breakout tells the story of how hundreds of protestors broke the fences at the detention camp, releasing detainees. Plus there is much much more...
