World Bank running scared from Sussex?

A planned recruitment session for the World Bank at Sussex University was cancelled at short notice amidst planned demonstrations.
We don't know why they cancelled, but the last time the WB came to town their representative left with a pie in the face [literally] as their seminar was occupied and shut down.
Sussex Uni had been very cagey about the event, telling only masters students on related courses such as international development, economics etc. Nevertheless, the news got out and protests were planned. Shortly before the scheduled recruitment session, it was confirmed the meeting had been cancelled.
A victory? Why not.
