ALDERMASTON ACTION GROUP
A new Aldermaston Action Group has been recently set up to discuss/organize non-violent protests at Aldermaston. The group was formed as a result of the Winchester to Aldermaston walk and will hold regular monthly meetings in the Winchester/Southampton area, although anyone wanting to join in the protests is more than welcome
Details of next action:
Tuesday 25th May, 4.30pm outside Main Gate.
Meet the workers as they leave the site and hand out leaflets/information on the new laser facility and its implications in terms of the Non Proliferation Treaty, safety, world security, etc.
We will have banners and tabards but please bring your own as well. We may be able to organise lifts from Southampton/Winchester if you let us know in advance by emailing either me or Juliet ( giulia@nukeinfo.org.uk or juliet.mcbride@btinternet.com). Tel. 02380 554434/550159 or 02380 221116.
After the protest the monthly Aldermaston Action Group meeting will be held at Bluebell Woods.
