The American army is investigating 25 deaths among Iraqi prisoners. A soldiers was convicted of murder – but didn’t have to go to jail.

In Sweden a newspaper is reporting from a US military source a solider has been fired for hitting and Iraqi prisoner to death with a stone. Another killing of an Iraqi prisoner has been done by a CIA employee.

I also read that Bush will address the Arab world today regarding the torture and killings by US- army of Iraqi prisoners.

What I wonder is:
This is not news what have been going on in the prisons in Iraq, would he have address the world if it hadn’t been for those pictures that are all over the world now? Why did he not address the Iraqis and the Arab world last May when the first Amnesty report of these abuses was published? That would indeed have sent a strong message to Iraqis and the rest of the world. He has waited a year to condemn this.
