Live Music Still Goes On

Thank you for all your support, your letters and visits are all hugely appreciated.

We think partly due to you using your voices we have recieved a letter stating that our public entertainments license is still in force until the appeal is heard.

Until recieving this letter we were advised that we had no licence and so we started to cancel all music and dancing events - now we are in the process of un-cancelling future events.

So thank you for your support and please keep up the momentum until we get through the appeal and the prosecution. The petition is still in the Café, and best news...the gigs are still on.


This weekend at the Café:

Thurs: Footprints in Front, Fundraiser for Nigeria Polio Iradification Project With Manteca Live Salsa Vibrations, Food available, families welcome, 7pm, £5 at the door - all proceeds goes to medicine for women and children in Nigeria

Fri: Afro-Tema Live, Formally known as Afrobeat, African Dance Music, Afro-Jazz, Afro-Latin, and Senegalese Beats, families welcome, African Buffet Included in Home-Style form. 7pm, £5 on the door

Sat: DJ Lotek, House and Breaks, Happy Birthday Moth, free entry b4 6.30pm

Sun: Family Friendly, Nice African Roast Dinner, Chill out music with DJ Tree, free entry from 3pm.
