Brazil Solidarity exists to support the popular movements of Brazil, in particular landless communities linked to the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST). In the past year we have sent funds to support communities in Pará state in the north of Brazil, and Pernambuco in the north-east. We are also raising money for the Florestan Fernandes School, the MST's own university in Sao Paulo state.

We run stalls and organise speaker meetings. We also organise BRAZILIAN FESTAS, with live samba and 100% Brazilian dance music.
