Street. The event features music, film, fun and know-how with the common
theme of PUBLIC SPACES.

Do summat present the second of the monthly get clued up events:

'get clued up bout public spaces'

Tuesday 27th April, from 7pm til midnight at the Green Room on Whitworth
Street. The event features music, film, fun and know-how with the common
theme of PUBLIC SPACES.

Speakers include the lovley dave white and also some members of the
manchester art collective UHC...

short films vary from quirky to inspirational and include issues from free
parties.. reclaim the streets.. graffiti spraying remote controlled
cars...

all this will be mixed up with manchester's finest DJ's playin an
eclectic mix of funky beats and breaks...

Entry is free, though donations are welcomed.

I spoke to about 30 people at Dosummat Get Clued up about public spaces tonight about the ripoff of public spaces. About the history of Piccadilly gardens, the way it has been stolen, the shit it is.

People are up for having a good, fluffy, time on saturday MAYDAY. But we can't do it on our own, is anyone out there who can paint and glue at the students union, 5pm or later, wednesday?

We are not the event organisers. You make it.

There were around 30 odd people at dosummat, and I met someone who was interested in the legal issues of can the council take gifted land away legally, can it be challenged and he is going to look into this and maybe we should make more noise about this issue if we can...

Taking public spaces matters.
do something. help us make this happen. reclaim piccadilly gardens.

Oops I can't count... There were loads more people at the dosummat, get clued up event than "30" last night. 60ish or more? ignore me, I am so bad at maths I should not be allowed out to mix with people who can count.
