Easton is poor, Clifton is wealthy. Guess where the ads are.....

Why are there no ads in Clifton?

>95% of the money in the economy is created by banks as loans. The people of clifton don't need to go into debt to consume, those elsewhere do. So the good people of Easton are bombarded with self-esteem destroying corporate propaganda in order to provide the economy with some semblance of liquidity.

Of course they don't think about it in these terms; you just don't get planning permission for billboards in 'nice' areas, but make no mistake what's happening here. I mean people use their credit cards (i.e. take a loan) just to by basic neccessities. I highly recommend Michael Rowbotham's 'The Grip of Death' which explains the absurdity of debt-money in very clear but comprehensive terms.

I used to notice that too...and here in canada the poorer schools have their text books "sponsered" by multi-corporations with, you got it, adverts in them for the kiddies to peruse. AND some inner-city schools get the priveledge of McDonalds right in the cafeteria..how convenient.
