Sample letter to european leaders.

Dear European Leader,

The possibility for truce is possible, Osama Bin Laden has offered
a peace treaty. The terms are that we leave the Muslim lands, in
return we won't be the target of military retaliations.

Personally I think the offer is sound, can we please put this to a
referendum.

Dear European Leader,

The possibility for truce is a red herring, Osama Bin Laden has seen the failure of his murderous policies and now seeks a way to consolidate his power among fanatics before he loses funding and control

The terms of his so called treaty are that we leave those Muslims still facing oppresion to themsleves and in return we won't be the target of terrorist attacks.

Personally I think Osmama is a fascist terrorist dedicated to the formation of an Islamic world by force and I support actions to stop him and his kind

please put this to a referendum.

So not very much then.

The offer is clearly tactical, to split europe and the US, although George W 'Stealing palestinian land is a reality' Bush is doing a pretty good job of that, save for loyal Tony.

However, we should not be so concerned with WHO is making the demands but WHAT the demands are. For example, the Spanish population 90% opposed sending troops to Iraq, so their withdrawal is not the appeasement of the 11/3 bombers but the appeasement of the electorate (a big no-no in elective-oligarchies).

Similarly, bin Laden asks Europe to 'stop attacking muslims'. Jack Straw says his demands are 'impossible'. We shouldn't be ATTACKING muslims, or anybody, anyway. If bin Laden demanded George Bush hold free and fair elections would they have to rig the vote in order to fight terror? No, although they might anyway. Bin laden supports the palestinian cause (though probably wants an islamist Palestine) - should we support the Israeli occupation to fight terror? Of course not, although Bush and Blair seem to be.

Why not make a counter-offer - If al-queda stops targeting civilians we can talk. Surely the end of attacks on civilians would mean the 'war on terror' would have been won? Obviously thats a risk our dear oligarchs can't take - the war on terror is meant to go on FOREVER!. how can they constantly scare us and eradicate civil liberties if they actually stopped terrorism! We must never negotiate with terrorists - peace only ever comes from BLOODSHED! (presumably terrorists sit around discussing whether it is moral to negotiate with imperialists, that'd be a laugh)

bin Laden is a fascist murderer, trained by the best facist murderers in the game, the CIA. I don't trust any of 'em.
