Errr... Did someone forget to mention that this is a newswire, not a place for advertising concerts for horrible old men, one of whom in his earlier days (Jerry) married a 13 year old girl (he was considerably older). Please hide this, and pleas stop posting crap like this to Indymedia.

Jerry Lea Lewis was only 17 at the time though!

Jerry Lea Lewis was only 17 himself at the time of his marriage to a 13 year old, who incidently looked much older than her years. Rock'n'Roll was also the most revolutionary movement of its time. Radio stations banned it, parents hated it and a famous radio discjockey was sacked for playing it. If it hadn't been for these early Rock'n'Roll pioneers who inpsired a generation to rebel against authority and reactionary ideas then maybe this newswire would not exist today and maybe there would be no anarchist movement as the modern anarchist movement was inpsired by the punk movement which was inspired by the groups of the sixties whom in turn were inspired by the 1950s Rock'n'Rollers.
