Demonstrations may well be permitted only in the suburbs and outside the cities - the Putin loyal party "United Russia", which rules with absolut majority, pushed the law through the parliament - a spontaneous protest with 30 members of right and left groups took place in front of the parliament building and got dissolved, the "leader" of the rally, ( an official of the Yabloko party) got arrested.
