The film, 'Voices through the Rubble', which documents the continuing collective house demolitions and other abuses of Palestinian human rights in Gaza, will be premiered in Sheffield on Saturday April 3rd at the Sheffield Insititute for the Blind.

The film, 'Voices through the Rubble' was filmed by Sheffield Palestine Solidarity Campaigns'own Musheir El-Farra (directed by Jenni Vine and edited by Steve Jenks). It documents the continuing collective house demolitions and other abuses of Palestinian human rights in Gaza. Interviews with children shed light on the culture of fear and violence which has been inflicted on them - but the film also shows the chldren's projects sponsored by Sheffield PSC in the refugee camps of Jabalia, Nussairat and Khan Younis.

The event is a combined benefit dinner and film premiere this Saturday, April 3rd, at the Sheffield Institute for the Blind on Mappin Street, beginning at 7pm. Please join us for dinner and raise vital funds to support these children's projects. Tickets (on the door) are £7 (£5 concessions). Food will be served from 7.00 - 8.30 only, so please arrive in plenty of time. The film will be screened at 8.45.
