Israel prevents UN food aid reaching Gaza

Israel has placed restrictions on UN food aid activities in Gaza leading to the suspension of food aid. Ridiculously, Israel has blamed the killing of Sheik Ahmed Yassin, by Israel, for the restrictions.
"At the moment we cannot trust anything, especially since the death of Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin" - Israeli Spokesman
Thats right, the UN food aid program may in fact be a cunning hamas revenge plot! It seems the Israelis are desparate to provoke some as yet absent retaliation for the killing of sheik ahmed yassin to further their ends . . . Unbelievable Israeli reasoning at work for the starving of 90,000 civilians.

No limit to the self-defeating depravity of Palestinian terrorism

Police and security forces are investigating the possibility that the Palestinian terrorists responsible for the suicide bombings at the Ashdod Port in which 10 Israelis were killed may have been smuggled from Gaza in a container.
This follows the discovery at the port on Wednesday of a supposedly-empty container that originated from Gaza with a false side. Inside, fragmentation grenades and clothes had been hidden.
The Ashdod Magistrate's Court later imposed a publicity ban on all details of the case and inquiries into the matter.
Prior to the gag order, however, it was reported that the container had arrived at the port on the same day as the attack by the suicide bombers, after passing through the Karni checkpoint in Gaza without the secret compartment and arms cache being uncovered.
The reports said that the container was destined to be transferred from Ashdod to the Haifa Port, although its route and destination were not known.
According to one report, the false side and compartment were discovered by a worker from a transport company that was due to convey the container to Haifa.
He apparently noticed a suspicious ring on the rear of the container and, on pulling it, uncovered the recess where the weapons, clothes, and bedding were found.
Other reports said the discovery was made when the container was put through a sophisticated X-ray machine at the port for a routine inspection. Channel 2 said remains of food, as well as mattresses, were also discovered.
According to that report, the container had come from Europe to Ashdod and from there had been conveyed to Gaza, via the Karni crossing.
The report said the possibility is being examined that it was at this point that the terrorists entered the container and hid there as it was transported back via the checkpoint to Ashdod, and, in this way, entered Israel.
The discovery of the weapons sparked a major security alert after the bombings on Sunday in which eight port workers and two others were killed and about 20 wounded.
Ben-Zikri said that many of the workers were still in shock over the loss of friends and colleagues in the twin attacks.
One of the bombers blew himself up near the offices of a repair workshop inside the port, not far from the cold-storage warehouse. The second went to an office outside the port used by workers from a nearby factory and detonated the explosive device he was carrying.
It would not be the first time that a Palestinian terrorist has infiltrated Israel via the Karni crossing point. In March 1996, an Islamic Jihad suicide bomber from Gaza blew himself up in Tel Aviv's Dizengoff Street, killing 13 people.
Security forces have also discovered huge amounts of weapons that Palestinians had tried to smuggle into Gaza via the Karni crossing point, a trade lifeline for Palestinians in the congested Strip.

The logic of this arguement is that anti-apartheid activists were anti-white, those who support the Kurdish national liberation struggle are anti-Turkish etc etc.

fuck the reason why ...

it is also a deeply cynical and dispicable act - especially as it is predicated on falsehood
we get the same old bullshit when we hear about the thousands of tunnels and ships loaded with weapons, etc etc.
one documented incident (and very likely staged at that) followed by howls of outrage and beating of brow and chest before total over reaction and premeditated strangulation
complain and you are rightwing nut
tired old tricks
gnarled old facists

The same style of nonsensical, barely literate terror-cheerleading suggests this may be the case... increase the dosage nurse, and take away his crayons!

Do not - unless there is an emergency 'anti-semitism' switch nearby - focus on the issue of collective punishment and international law etc etc
Karens great, her presence here is welcome - as is yours (but more for the amusement value) but personality cults leave me cold.
Explain why starving a whole people is helpful to israel?
And then explain why it is israel should be allowed to transgress international law and common human decency?

caro jackslucid , don't bother

But i wouldn't bother trying to argue with them they control most of the worlds media
but still seem to think that IMC needs to be kept under control, i would take that as a compliment.
I find it quite interesting to study their tactix , which articles they attack and which they leave alone,
there is a distinct pattern. They also seem to work in shifts some weeks they are more active and some
weeks they are not around. I know that in Holland they pay students to place calls to anyone who criticises
Israel, they call repeatedly until the person gets pissed off and so it goes on
They seem to choose the names at random , although before there were more Josh's and daniels now it's John and co with more english sounding names.
You may remember the Israeli 747, loaded with chemical weapons, which crashed on a block of flats in Amsterdam. That is an on going story and the same methods of harassment have been used against anyone who complains . The israelis have their own "private" terminal at schipol policed by the israeli army or should I say IDF, ( and here's one for the anti semitix) the mayor of amsterdam is jewish and would have become Prime minister of Holland if the labour party had won the last election.
Imagine if say your up in court for a demo outside the Amercian embassy and you find that theirs a fucking Yankkkee on the bench , I guess you would have a right to complain .
Does a Jewish magistrate trying this case not constitute a conflict of interest ????
so freedom of speech freedom of expression as long as you don't criticise Israel and who sail in her including the jewish JP ..
