Between 50- and 100-thousand people marched from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square. The mood was positive, and the costumes colourful!
A coach went from Oxford to the demo.

The banner that read "Aznar, Bush, Blair, Crawford: 1 down 3 to go" said it all. Australia's Labour pm jumped to attention at the Bush babies call to arms, according to my cousin from Adelaide, who was over here for a conference and marched with us on Sat. Niki.

The Prime Minister of Australia is a conservative, Labor are the opposition party and they opposed the war.
