TIN WHISTLES AND TINTINTITUS

Joe Toni | 18.03.2004 19:26 | Repression | London

Blowing a tin whistle and the sound produced can cause tintinitus.

On the BOG-OFF!: Mr. Bush - march, I blew a whistle - the type you get for a quid -; together with thousands of others. Subsequently, the faint shrilling in my left ear is a constant reminder of the triumph of our presence. Fellow travellers, there is a relationship between wrath, the humble plastic pea and its tin casing which engenders a caveat: TINTINITUS; and it's INCURABLE. Tintinitus is a fit argument for banning whistles on marches: meanwhile, earplugs; and drums. Don't forget: CHILDREN ARE JUST AS VULNERABLE.
