Why would britain benefit from having Khomeni in control ?
The Shah was an evil ass, but he was friendly to "the west" whereas after the revolution, Iran became a pretty much closed country to westerners.
If you're so pissed off about your "government" then do something about getting rid of them (and believe me, I sincerely wish you luck) but dont just blame britain because khomeni spent a few years in India ???
