Free poster against local War Criminal Andrew Smith MP

Pieter Wulf | 02.03.2004 12:04 | Anti-militarism | Oxford

The poster features local MP and war criminal Andrew Smith and his messiah Blair in their dog collars surveying a war cemetary, looking pleased with their work.

Please change the wording as you see fit - "Liar, War Criminal and YOUR(stressed) local MP" above the picture, while below, the name of the MP and the words "20,000 Dead (2003)". This is the product of an idea discussed during the early stages of the war, the anti-war protesters might help prevent further wars by targetting their local MP's who specifically voted for the invasion and occupation of Iraq. The poster should be adapted for other areas, it works as black and white or colour.

You can do what you like with these, I favour using A4 transparent plastic wallets turned upside down (so the rain won't get em) and cable ties (available from Homebase) to tie them to lamposts at head height. Should be good as A3-A2 too!

You can find out how your MP voted on 18 March by going here:  http://www.stopwar.org.uk/resources.asp

Adapt this for your local pro-war MP

02.03.2004 12:12

This can be easily adapted for your local MP, bringing notoriety where it is due. What has your local MP achieved since elected, the most memorable thing is probably the slaughter of 20,000 people. If you think people are think of something other than Iraq when they think of your local MP, adapt this poster, and make their criminal activities and warmongering the first thing associated with war mongers. Tory, Labour or Lib Dem - it doesn't matter - single out the war criminal.
