No one will follow a boycott

You can call a boycott as much as you want but very few people will follow it. For example the boycott of Mc Donalds organised by London Greenpeace was a complete flop with the number of Mc Donalds restuarants increasing during the 15 years of their boycott Mc Donalds campaign. Other tactics need to be looked at as so few people follow boycotts.

So alone...

As your tag suggests, solo - you are alone.

The McDonalds boycott has actually resulted in record
numbers of European franchises closing down. Simple
economics really - decreasing demand.

Direct action

I personally cant see how say a few thousand/even million people boycotting Coke will any difference at all. Coca-cola truly is a worldwide product. I have travelled quite alot to far away places and no matter where you go you can always get a coke (and it is normally the only option). And is its not coke then its another drink produced by the coca-cola company under a different name (sprite, fanta, thumbs-up, limca, miranda, 7-up, etc.).

Direct action is what is needed.

Boycott, why not?

A boycott may or may not be effective, but what annoys me are the people who critize boycotts in order to justify the continued consumption of products from offending companys.
