Lifts to Blackwood protest camp from Oxford

Lifts from Oxford to the Blackwood road protest camp leaving Friday morning.

There are lifts going to Blackwood road protest camp, just outside Cardiff, on Friday morning. If you are interested, please call Jamie on 07815 886804 or email
inthereeds2002(at)yahoo.com . Also call if you can offer lifts/ driving. We are organising a short briefing on Thursday evening in Oxford to put you in the picture.

The proposed road, being built by Costain as part of a PFI scheme, runs through beautiful ancient woodland and is a bypass to an industrial estate where the main company is Nordam, who build military equipment for the MOD. So far the local kids and a few activists have managed to stop work for most of last week, but they need support.

Bring warm stuff for camping out, food, old tat (rope, tarpaulin etc), videos/cameras, climbing gear if you have it and enthusiasm. No experience necessary!
