G L A S G O W A U T O N O M O U S P R O J E C T Presents:-

A night of music, films, food and fun at the Vale pub in Glasgow, this Thursday from eight.

This coming Thursday, at the Vale pub, on Dundas Street in Glasgow, just behind Queen Street Station the Glasgow Autonomous project invites you to an evening of entertainment, including music, films and food.

Playing from eight o'clock onwards will be:-

* Attilla
* Trashsuperstar
& Rebecca Jakob

We hope to see you there and help us make this a great night.

The Glasgow Autonomous Project is a collective working towards the creation of a community action resource centre

This centre will provide a meeting space and resources for local groups and individuals working for social change.

It will be a safe and welcoming venue where we can work and socialise together.

We don't know exactly what the centre will look like, but proposals include: meeting room(s), café, infoshop and library with information on Glasgow's radical history and on local, national and global issues, internet access and IT resources and support for community campaigners and activists, music rehearsal and performance space.

At present we're raising funds through benefit gigs such as this one, and through our weekly stalls in the city centre, in order to build for renting a space in May, and perhaps beyond, where to coincide with the month of action we are planning workshops and discussions and the formation of groups to campaign on various pressing social issues.
