Report back on this afternoon's demonstration called by Pengon/Anti Apartheid Wall campaign and the Dutch Coalition against the Wall.

This afternoon's demonstration called by Pengon/Anti Apartheid Wall campaign and the Dutch Coalition against the Wall, was very positive with attendance of more than one thousand people.
The Palestinaian supporters among whom were Jewish groups opposed to the Zionist state spoke out against the continued construction of the wall.
Upon arriving at the International Court of Justice the protest was immediately cordoned off by the police and individuals arriving latterly were prevented from participating.
In addition the police did not offer any protection to the anti wall participants when an aggressive group of Zionists stormed their demonstration.
At the end of the event, protestors were prevented from dispersing by the Police, who forced everyone to trudge back along the entire route of the march from the International Courts of Justice to Central Station.
After being prohibited from dispersing, commentators said they were afraid that the Dutch police are beginning to use containment policies similar to those used to control demonstrations in the UK.
On one occasion during this enforced exodus, the ultra-Zionist New York rabbi, Abbi Weisz, who has stated on national televison that the UN is an anti semetic organisation, strode into a crowd of peacefully marching Palestinain youth attempting to provoke an incident.
He was quickly whisked away by the Police, but his presence caused great offence to the Palestinian supporters.
On the whole, the day was a positive response to the start of International judicial process confirming the illegality of the Apartheid wall.
