Great work!

I just want to point out that Jean Chretien is no longer the PM of Canada. Paul Martin, a member of the Bilderberg Group (as is the leader of his official "opposition", Stephen Harper), was installed to the post without an election, after MP's loyal to Martin and Neo-Liberalism forced Chretien to resign.

Just might want to get a new mask before the next demo ...

How many people took part?

Great Action, All The Same

The photos are excellent - who took the ones from high up?
Anyway, fun and funky action, looks really cool.
But what happened with the police at Bonn square? They look
like they started to single people out? How totally
pointless - on what grounds?

Police

The Police decided at the end that the person conducting (although only for two songs) was the leader! They then pinned him against the wall and threatened him with arrest for creating a "public nuisance". Although not using the word "arrest" they pushed him up against the wall and told him that unless he gave them his name and address - including room number, they would use other means to find out.

This is blatant intimidation of a peaceful awareness raising exercise that was taking place on only pedestrianised areas. It was also fairly indiscriminate.

The reason the police gave was they were pissed off for not being consulted.
