One thing I found interesting was the police response to this. Before the Band moved into the shopping area the pictured officer said something like this: "You haven't informed us you are doing this. We don't want you to do it. If you do do it, then it makes it less likely that we will help you do things in future" The Band responded with the comment "hey, come on let's PLAY". That is the nice thing about samba - if in doubt, play.
