The international committee of the swedish Anarcho-Syndicalist Youth Federation (S.U.F) would like to express our solidarity with the combatants and freedom fighters in Redfern, Australia.

For too long police have been harassing and violating aboriginal youths.
These youths are guilty only of poverty and powerlessness; victims of a racist government. Nothing else.
In their desperation they use the only mean of expression left at their disposal: rebellion.
After the riots in Redfern these fighters have been called thugs. Liberal media act surprised when these youths respond to the police with the same violence that have been brought upon the aborigines for generations.
Indeed these riots were provoked by thugs, as liberal media claims. These thugs are the australian government and the racist police who systematically harass black youths.
The police have brought this upon themselves.
Our solidarity goes to the family and friends of 17 year old Thomas Hickey who was killed by the police and to the youths on the streets confronting the police and the racist system of repression and poverty that they represent and protect.
The australian government calls their violence justice. It’s nothing but pig justice.
Long live the anti-racist fighters in Redfern, Australia and all around the world, wherever minorities and indigenous peoples suffer under racism, exploitation, hunger, prison, oppression and poverty.
By any means necessary!
No justice – No peace
