Anti-fur demo in Worcester - Victory for the animals!

PIA shoes in Worcester ditch the fur!

Another excellent demo today at Madeleine Anne in Worcester. Twelve activists turned out to show the Worcester Madeleine Anne outlet their revolt and disgust at her persistance in selling dead animal skins. Meanwhile ten activists were demoing a branch of Madeleine Anne in Solihull! The two pronged attack!

Best news of the day: As activists moved on to demo PIA shoes in Worcester who were selling rabbit fur trimmed boots, activists were told by the owner that they have sent all the stock back and told C.A.F.T (Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade) that they will not be restocking fur items again, now or in the future!

Hundreds of leaflets were given out outside Mad Annes shop of horrors, donations given by the public, kids joining in the demo, new faces joining the PACA campaign. Overall a massive success with PIA ditching the fur but there will be plenty of demos to come as long as Mad Ann thinks it is her god given right to profit from the imprisonment and murder of animals.

Mad Ann is the last target to take down that is selling fur in the Worcester/Hereford area. Ring Madeleine Anne and tell her that profiting from the death of those that have no voice is a filthy, low down way of financing your own lifestyle and that it does not pay to deal in such disgusting practices, in the beginning or in the end!

PIA shoes have ditched the fur boots completely, we had absolute confirmation the day they did, it's now 14/05/04 and they've stuck to their word, we check regularly.

We think you (the above poster) are getting Madeleine Ann mixed up with PIA shoes. Mad Ann's still adamant it's her right to sell fur in Worcester so the demos still carry on against her shop.

Read the facts from those that organise and participate at the demos:  http://www.vivisection.info/paca

We're positive about this one

PIA Shoes of Worcester (two doors down from Mad Anns shop) certainly ditched the fur boots on the day of said (above) demo. Go in and ask them yourself.

Mad Ann, 97a High St, Worcester, on the other hand is still of the frame of mind it is her god given right to sell animal skins ... hence the continuation of protests by PACA.

Maybe you got crossed wires here!

See the PACA website for more up to date news.

Cheers.

PIA shoes have ditched the rabbit fur boots in Worcester, period... as stated in the main post.

'Mad Ann' in Worcester continues to be a bullshitter, hence the intense demos by PACA at her shop.

..See PACA - West Midlands website for 'up to date' news (address above)

..... Maybe u got ur wires crossed about PIA Shoes and Madeleine Ann? cos' PIA ain't selling no fur boots no more! Check 'em, two doors down from Mad Ann (address above) and ask 'em!

Madeleine Ann Worcester Ditches fur!

Madeleine Ann in High Street, Worcester decided after 23 demos since the beginning of 2004 to ditch real fur and give themselves a permanent break from the protests!

News came on October 5th 2004 that 'Mad Ann' had a change of policy because the new manageress in Worcester refused to stock dead animal skins!
