"Legal Workshop" Saturday 14.02, 1pm

Silje | 12.02.2004 01:13 | Oxford

We are having a workshop to educate activists on the laws that are applying to civil disobedience as well as "normal" demonstrations.

This saturday, the 14th of February, Kathryn from the Activist Legal Project is doing a workshop to educate activists on things they need to know when they meet the police - what they are allowed to do and what they are not, in "illegal" direct actions as well as completely legal demonstrations. She will also specifically talk about rules that apply to non-uk citizens.

The workshop will take place in the Rainolds Room, Corpus Christi College.
It is arranged by Oxford Student Activist Network, but open to everyone.

The workshop will be for about an hour, and there will be time for questions.
This is important and useful information - please come!

Lets Have A Riot!

At this riot, will it be 'legal' to set fire to buildings and loot shops. Also, will I be allowed to throw bricks through windows of any nearby Mcdonalds on behalf of my friend only known as Colonel Saunders. I would also like to attack people with heavy machine guns and rocket launchers. Will this be too heavy for the event. If so I will just bring a few sworn off shotguns and Long Range Sniper Rifles.

Thanks!
