Bayer's injunction over!
- | 09.02.2004 16:52 | Bio-technology | Cambridge | Oxford
At the end of December last year, Bayer obtained a temporary but wide reaching injunction to prevent any attempts at demonstrating or protesting about their involvement in GM crops in this country.
THAT INJUNCTION WILL HAVE ENDED ON THE 11TH FEB!!
quote "IT IS ORDERED until 11 February 2004 or further Order"...
On the 11th, a new order is likely to be made (or perhaps not)
but note ON THE 11th, THE INJUNCTION DOES NOT APPLY - at least
until court procedings are completed.
SO....
anyone who fancies a pop a bayer but has been waiting to see how
the legal challenge against the injuntion goes, the coast is clear
on the 11th for actions to take place.

Interestingly, this post above, plus many many others from Indymedia, were all part of the evidence presented by Bayer [yes they are reading this now].
I asked him how he thought the implications of the injunction would be for indymedia, see my report about the court hearing elsewhere.
