Ted T'so talk in Sheffield 17th February on 2.6 Kernel Internals

BoneIdol | 01.02.2004 17:14 | Technology | Sheffield

See press release below  - The acessibilty of the coders of OSS ( and the tools
that they create ) is surely one of its great strengths.  I heard Rusty Russel
of iptables and ipchains fame - the Linux firewalling code.  To hear him
explain how firewalls and tcpip work was worth a hundred textbooks and
completely free.  This also should be exciting

Ted T'so is visiting us from Massachusetts in the
States to give a presentation about  Linux 2.6 Kernel internals.  To
read more about him have a look at his home page...

The presentation will begin at 19.00 in room 7140 in the Stoddart
building at Sheffield Hallam University.  This is just next to the
train and bus stations.  Those of you who came along to the recent
Richard Stallman presentation will know that this is the same room as
last time.  If you want to find a map have a look around the SHU site
 at www.shu.ac.uk.
