Hutton, Kay and the war of semantics

captain wardrobe | 30.01.2004 21:29

just my opinion...

Well...

The hutton enquiry has happened...

and even the most cynical among us cannot have expected
not one single politician to go...

Hoon was my candidate...
he had that look of a fall guy...as Campbell started to...

IE
'rubbing his hands together to either go on a well payed
lecture tour (as campbell has), or join the Carlyle group and deal in some death...

(as John Major did sosme years ago...)

The fact that not a single politician has had to take the fall
should send a message to us all...

THESE PEOPLE ARE ARROGANT BEYOND BELEIF

this is their achilles heel...and we should use it...

David Kay(CIA) recently gave testimony at the senate hearings
to establish his WMD concerns...

and he did exactly that...

he has help establish a false premise: that the intelligence was FAULTY...IE WRONG

and helped to cover the 'possibility' that they LIED to go to war...
the 'possibility' [a reality to me] that it was all an operation in disinformation...
a Spin for legitimising and invasion plan that has been in the
pipeline for years as a 'war' in the public eye.

as Bush has said 'i wanna know why'
George Tenet is being lined up to take the fall

it is an exercise in semantics

The Hutton enquiry has sealed Tony Blair as a good guy
in many American voters minds, thus strengthening the BUSHes
election campaign...

The enquiry has also enabled the BBC to give itself a RE-BRAND...
a myth-making process...of BBC impartiality and journalistic integrity...
in the future you will see that government biased spin...
[not all the time, not all the journalists]
but because of the poloarisation the enquiry has produced
...it becomes even harder for the British public to notice...
I fear the whole process of accusations / resignations has been a charade.

We need to keep pushing the LIE accusation...
they LIED...for genocide...
and keep making ourselves
read, heard and seen...Let's stick the knife in...
while they think they have got away with it...

This government is involved in an extremist,
geo-strategic power play...we gotta stop'em.

Bush rejects call for intelligence investigation

01.02.2004 01:08

so no independant 911 investigation and no independant iraq investigation...
why no Afghanistan investigation?

George Bush says he wants to know the facts about any intelligence failures on Iraq's alleged weapons, but will not endorse calls for an independent investigation.

The issue of an independent commission has become an election-year problem for the president, with Democrats and Republicans alike supporting the idea.

Former chief weapons inspector David Kay has concluded that Iraq did not possess weapons of mass destruction, which Bush had cited as a rationale for going to war.

Bush said he wanted to be able to compare the administration's pre-war intelligence with what will be learned by inspectors who are now searching for weapons in Iraq. There is no deadline for those inspectors, the Iraq Survey Group, to complete their work.

"I want the American people to know that I, too, want to know the facts. I want to be able to compare what the Iraq Survey Group has found with what we thought prior to going into Iraq," he said.

"One thing is for certain - one thing we do know from Mr Kay's testimony, as well as from the years of intelligence that we had gathered, is that Saddam Hussein was a danger. He was a growing danger.

"And given the circumstances of September the 11th, this country went to the United Nations and said, "Saddam Hussein's a danger, let us work together to get him to disarm."

"He was defiant, he ignored the request of the international community and this country led a coalition to remove him," Bush said after meeting with economists.
