TO his commanders and colleagues, Captain Richard Clarke(BLACK) is an outstanding officer who has acted with courage in every war involving the British Army in recent years.
But today The People can reveal that Captain Clarke, 33, has an evil secret that will bring shame on his uniform and his regiment.
The Sandhurst-trained officer is masterminding a plot to smuggle girls as young as l3 from Africa and hire them out as sex slaves to perverted pals in his regiment and lusting civilians.
Clarke, a commander in the Royal Logistic Corps who played a key role in the Iraq war, leads a sordid double life as a pimp who craves and sells under-age girls.
Following a People investigation, we can reveal the respected officer...
PAYS slave traffickers to recruit vulnerable girls from poor families in Africa and smuggle them into Britain.
OFFERED £1,000 for a 15-year-old virgin to be delivered to his home and plans to hawk her around selling sex to the highest bidder.
ORDERED a 13-year-old girl for his own use as a live-in sex slave.
PLANS to get rich by running a vice network along the South Coast specialising in teenage black girls.
SECRETLY ran his own brothel with 15 girls in Zimbabwe while stationed there with the British Army.
Clarke, who graduated with honours from Sandhurst, has seen action in Afghanistan and Kosovo and during the Iraqi war he and his men secured the Port of Umm Qasr ahead of the Royal Marines.
But away from the officers' mess at the Logistic Corps' Port and Maritime Regiment, Clarke is involved in a more sordid kind of action. Last week he was expecting a new "shipment" from The Gambia - two teenage sisters, one a 15-year-old virgin.
When a People undercover investigator posing as a middleman showed the officer a photo of the virgin, he gloated: "The first punter for her will have to pay a premium.
"The girls will make about sixty quid a customer but I would aim for £500 for the first time with her."
And referring to his regiment which runs one of Britain's biggest military ports at Marchwood, Southampton, he said: "I can always get customers.
"There are 600 men working at that port and I've got a lot of mates there. There are enough lads who need to get their rocks off, you just need to do things quietly."
When we told Clarke that a 13-year-old girl was available, he said: "I won't put her out to work. I want her for my own pleasure." The captain added: "I would not go with an 11-year-old. All I care is the paperwork says she is older than she is."
Clarke, who is in line for promotion to major, had corresponded with a sleazy contact in the The Gambia for nine months asking him to find girls and arrange visas.
In emails the 15-year-old virgin was callously referred to as an "unused item" and accommodation in the UK as "storage areas".
Clarke was prepared to pay £1,000 for each girl on condition he kept 50 per cent of their earnings for three years.
The girls' families in a poor suburb of the Gambian capital Banjul had agreed to hand them over believing they were heading for a brighter future.

But Clarke, who joined the Army eight years ago, planned to keep them locked up at one of his two properties in Southampton and make them sell their bodies.
When our investigator posing as the Gambian fixer's agent met Clarke at the Holiday Inn hotel in Southampton he spoke freely about his sick plans. He said: "I'm happy to take those girls and I have accommodation, my own place to begin with.
"I may put in a South African working girl I know here to look after them. A lot of white men are into black girls and I'll be looking at moving them all around the South Coast, Bourne-mouth, Eastbourne, Portsmouth and places like that.
"It will all be done by phone with small ads in the local paper as massage girls. There is no street scene here so the customers will go to them.
"I will change the work places every six months and the mobile phones. A lot will rely on keeping moving about as it is still illegal in the UK.
"I will only let them go out under close supervision with me driving them around.
"I will be keeping their passports and to start with make sure they stay in the place where I live. The hardest part will be to stop them running away." We arranged a second meeting at the Hilton and when Captain Clarke turned up in uniform we confirmed we could deliver a 13-year-old girl from Ghana who was already in Britain.
He wanted to know if she was pretty and whether she had sexual experience. We told him she had been a child prostitute because she looked older than her years.
He offered to pay £1,000 for her plus £250 delivery charges and said he would keep her for his personal use.
In an email to his fixer in the Gambia the lusting officer said: "This merchandise will be for my personal consumption."
Clarke insisted on delivery "as soon as possible". He offered to collect the 13-year-old or arrange for her to be handed over at a motorway service station.
When told that her passport was phoney Clarke claimed: "I am not a f***ing paedophile and would not go with an 11 or 12 year old. I would draw a line at l2.
"Whatever the passport tells me is her age then that is what she is. All I care is that the paperwork says she is older than she really is.That is all I care."
He added: "It's just the ages of them, I mean in England people are crazy about the issue of under-aged sex.
"I have to be and will be very careful. I hope you appreciate the risks I am taking.".
We told him that if things didn't work out with her we had a second girl in London who was only 12 but would be 13 in April.
Clarke expressed an interest in her as well. He said: "I will try to put the girl through college so you can tell her parents I will look after her properly."

"They go to Dublin first and then straight to the UK. It's easy because there is no immigration check"
He added: "I got into this business in Zimbabwe. I owned a lodge there and had up to 15 girls working for me at one time."
Clarke - only black officer in the Royal Logistic Corps - talked about his Army career.
He said: "I was with the Marines for the invasion at Basra and secured the port of Umm Qasr for them before they went in.
"I got shot at once in Basra when our driver lost his way and we ended up in enemy territory. A sniper opened fire.
"I was also shot at a couple of times in Kosovo and Afghanistan and took a lot of risks out there but all life is a risk.
"I am taking a big, big risk with this business. My career is at stake."
Last night when we confronted Clarke at the barracks the stunned officer said: "You have got me bang to rights. I am finished here. There is nothing I can do."
Clarke made a feeble attempt to clear himself by claiming he had been trying to trap the middleman in his sleazy deal.
When asked if it was wrong to try to bring under-age girls into Britain for sex, he replied: "Yes, I agree with that. And I am finished. I will have to phone the Army Board and resign right away. Thank you."

When a civilian security guard asked the officer why he was not displaying a security pass on his silver Ford Focus he said: "Come on you know who I am."
The guard waved us through and Clarke - who assumed our man was part of illegal international child sex trade - left him to wander round the base at Marchwood, Southampton, while the officer interviewed two squaddies for promotion.
We then moved on to the regiment's living quarters at McMullen Barracks where Clarke had to keep another appointment.
Once again we were waved in after Clarke told an armed soldier on the gate: "What do I need a pass for? Everybody knows who I am."
And again the officer let our investigator wander off alone while Clarke inspected a group of visiting Army cadets.
Clarke also showed our man his two properties in Southampton where he wants to keep his sex slaves.
One is a three bedroomed terraced house where he lives and the other is a £190,000 semi nearby.
He also rents them out to immigrants who he admits are "not exactly staying here legally."
Clarke - once an immigrant himself who came to Britain from Trinidad as a young boy - said: "I don't ask them any questions as long as they pay rent."
He added: "I like boating. I like to take a power boat over to France and bring a few things back, you know, people. You can take them into the back of the Isle of Wight. That's very easy. I also know a few fishermen who do it."
