Speakers: Felicity Szesnat, Dr Louise Pirouet, David Cantor

Felicity Szesnat works for the Refugee Legal Centre at Oakington Detention Centre, just outside Cambridge.

Louise Pirouet is author of "Whatever Happened to Asylum in Britain" and has been involved with refugee concerns for many years in both Africa and Britain.

David Cantor has worked for several years as an advocate for asylum seekers in the UK.

This will be an opportunity to learn more about the various aspects of Britain's asylum system and the issues facing people coming into and trying to remain in Britain today. It will be a great chance to hear first hand the experiences of those who have worked closely with refugees and asylum seekers both in the UK and abroad. We hope to have lots of time for questions and discussion.

Directions: The entrance to Queens College is on Silver Street. To get to the Old Kitchens turn right from the porter's lodge, over the mathematical bridge, bare right in the courtyard you will come to and follow signs.
