Burying the New Labour Project
Look, I'll make it simple for you. Ricky Tomlinson says "The resistance to Blair is the only ray of sunshine about at the moment. Arthur Scargill is a friend of mine. Come the election there'll be a little cheque for Arthur and a little cheque for the Socialist Alliance to pay for bits of printing and stuff like that. I just wish the two would get together and form a really, really strong opposition to New Labour."

There needs, desperately, to be unity on the Left...

The full Rciky Tomlinson interview is in this weeks Socialist Worker, online at  http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/1885/sw188511.htm

The interview covers aspects of his time in jail for helping organise the building workers strike in Shrewsbury, and comments on Labour then and now, Art and Culture etc

It's very unlikely his dream will come true as long as Scragill keeps up his ridiculous, egotistical "there can be only one!" attitude towards politics and starts actually working with other groups.

Ricky Tomlinson is on the cover of Socialist Worker at the same time as doing an ad for capitalists British Gas. This proves conclusively that he is a class enemy who should be shot, and that SWP are in the pay of capitalism. If you need further evidence I saw an SWP member in a capitalist shop the other day buying some shoes, without asking for any proof that they were made by a non-hierarchical collective of indigenous peoples.

All Traitors and Sell-Outs must be Purged and Annihilated. None but the Pure True Revolutionaries deserve to participate in our Exclusive and Special Movement.
