You are apparently under the impression that folks in the US would give a flying F to whom "the world" thinks should rule over us. You are apparently under the impression that there are more than a handful of Americans who are "globalists" in the sense that you seem to be. HELL -- a lot of folks here aren't too comfortable with NATIONAL government let alone an international one.

So ask yourself this question "Pretty powerful for WHAT?" For getting people in the US to TOTALLY disregard what you in the rest of the world think and say? Are you trying to SUPPORT Bush and his cronies? To IMPROVE their internal position ruling the US? Because THAT would be the result of "the world" trying to folks here who our leaders should or should not be. The most likely response would be "we'll show you!"
