On the 11th December 2003, Criminal TV attended an event hosted by The Scarman Trust. There Key speaker was David Blunkett, introduced by John Snow.
Criminal TV wanted to ask David why we went to war with Iraq, we heckled him from the floor, but were asked to "shut up", we approached him as he was leaving the building, but he was told not to answer us by his minder.
The Scarman Trust is a charity that hands out small grants to local groups and individuals, many of whom are refugees and asylum seekers, or working with refugees and asylum seekers. Because of this Criminal TV felt it was a bit insensitive to have David there lecturing us on how we could build a better world of peace and fairness!!
From the number of people after who congratulated Criminal TV, we where not alone in this opinion.
