Take action against Tesco's sickening animal abuse

When a VIVA! undercover investigator entered Cherry Tree pig farm - who supply Tesco with their "finest" pig meat - they filmed horrific neglect. Let Tesco know what you think of their animal abuse on the 24th of January.
For example - dead piglets crawling with maggots, dying pigs unable to stand, mothers in cages so small they could not even turn around, pigs crowded into pens with puddles of water, animals on hard floors with no bedding, a mother with a dead foetus hanging from her vagina, and animals with appalling injuries left untreated. To read more about the investigation, go to http://www.viva.org.uk/Viva!%20Campaigns/Pig/tesco_investig.html
Tesco's response to this evidence? They did not find "any animal welfare problems" and did nothing about this shameful animal abuse. Of course, most factory farms are in the same disgraceful condition, but this does not absolve Tesco of responsibility.
Please help to shame Tesco by leafletting outside your local Tesco on the 24th of January. Even one person leafletting can let hundreds of people know that Tesco's boasts about high animal welfare standards are lies, and shame the supermarket into taking action. Contact alistair@viva.org.uk if you can help.
In the meantime, you can let Tesco know exactly what you think of them by the following methods:
e-mail them:

Phone Customer Services on:
