Cameras are all around us.... Who is filming you?

I dont know if CCTV is good bad or ineveitable, but one thing is for sure... capturing video is easy and it's power as a medium to persuade, entertain or distort is amazing.

This video is made from footage of Bristol people at play captured at random one night.

I wont comment on the fact that CCTV is all around us, but for the sake of your bandwidth, this is a 10meg download of a couple of people just sitting around in a pub/bar and they dont even look like they're having a good time.

Very dull, the video is completely without interest (no, i'm really not joking) and I cant really see why it was posted other than to say, if you've got a camera, you can film people doing nothing in particular....

Cheers, I just started to DL the vid until I read the above comment. I've noticed this guy or gal posting crap on Bristol Imc in the past.

don't forget that you can go to a police station and ask for footage of yourself from the big brother cctv cameras, it'll cost you about £12 though.

Well, that really was the point Bubbba. It is amazing how easy it is to intrude on private moments with video. Sorry, maybe this one missed and didnt make the point I was aiming for. Arty pants I guess. Sorry for wasting your time. "?" as for my other work being crap... well that is just hurtfull, even spitefull. I am trying to use video in a subversive way and constructive comments are welcome.. Did you watch them? Try these.....

ah.. well, sorry, but I reckon this (to me anyway) is fairly obvious and not best demonstrated by your video - because a video of people doing nothing much does not really hammer home their loss of privacy (IMHO) - but dont feel bad... I enjoyed your "bush" video when you first posted it (for all the right reasons :o) )
