-Eviction possible any time!

-However strong action at this time has so far prevented any further distruction and a vilage green aplication which
would protect the site for future generations is curently being considered so we realy need people now to prevent any eviction, we realy can win this time!

Bellway Homes will imminently remove a green wedge site on the edge of Mansfield.
This site contains a number of very old trees including a 300 year-old beech.
To prevent this eventuality there is currently a tree camp. The people on the site are well dug-in, tunnel and tree-houses. However they are in urgent need of support.
Things that are needed include:
-people
-climbers and kit
-diggers and doers
-food
-kitchen tat
-tents & tarps
-usual wishlist items: paint, tools, rope, warm things

Further info: The exact reason for the site removal is to allow Wardell Armstrong to build a link road for a new housing estate. However there are two entry roads to this new estate already, so the belief is that this road is to "open-up" the immediate area for further development.
In addition to this there info suggesting that an illegal eviction is likely, since the Sheriff of Nottingham is too expensive!
