Video: The Trials and Tribulations of the Littlemoor Four
r2r | 16.12.2003 23:17 | Bio-technology | Repression | Social Struggles | Oxford
Five minute video of interviews with the Littlemoor Four of Pink Castle fame. The four defendents, from Totnes, Oxford, Somerset and Wales, were just about to enter the court for a 'retrial'...
Usual thing, modem friendly low bandwidth versions uploaded here on Indymedia UK and high quality screening versions available from www.v2v.cc etc.

Anyway, I've tried to creat a small quicktime version but I've got some techie problem and keep getting faulty out of sync vids so I gave up.
Unless you are on a Mac, I suggest that you consider downloading the free realplayer and instead of using it, download Real Alternative (Media Player Classic) and use that (it uses bits of the Realplayer to work).
I'll try to sort out some better way of making multi platform modem friendly video that doen't use propriotory codecs...
ben
Use flash

UPDATE - better versions of our videos online now
31.12.2009 22:50
Over the years that real2reel have been posting videos and links to indymedia, technology and bandwidth have improved but websites have come and gone. While indymedia is still here, many of the sites which hosted our videos are long gone and any video you can still get at is usually only very low bandwidth versions which might have been great five years ago but are now rightly considered to be very poor quality in comparison with other videos now available online.
We've started going trawling the net and our own archives to get all those videos online again in as good quality as possible. We've been posting the videos to blip.tv and from there they are also uploaded to youtube, archive.org and other sites. Hopefully, if the links in the article above arn't working, or the quality is low, you'll find we have now uploaded a new version.

We've also set up a wordpress blog
You can also follow our new twitter account to hear about new videos as they are posted.
