It is the very nice pub that is only a few hundred meters away from the Coventry canal where watercycle training for the world championship 100 meter and 10km human powered boat races take place. This section of the canal is straight and stretches from Gallager Retail Park car park to the bridge and Clock tower of The Mutual clothing Company.
On the other side of the car park and canal rises a wooded embankment, which goes up a hill to where one can get a panoramic view of Coventry City. For 3-second film clip visit

From their one can watercycle to the Royal Hotel, the Coach and Horses, the longford engine and the Greyhound Inn at Sutton Stop Hawkesbury canal junction Longford From this canal junction it is posible to go to the Navigation pub in Bedworth or through the lock to the Elephant and Castle public house Aldermans Green Rd CV2 1NL Tel: 024 7636 4606
The Elephant and Castle. It has an extensive beer garden and a very nice childrens play area.
The Elephant and Castle is the halfway point back to the Adam & Eve pub (they sell the most tasty beer called Bombardier bitter) with the following 5 public houses along the way.
