Student strikers in France and Germany ask uk-groups for support. European action day against cuts in education and neoliberalism in general on December 13th. Students in Germany and France on strikes for 4 weeks, ministerial offices occupied. German trade unions call members out on 13th. Factory walk outs spreading in Germany.

Students in most German university cities and in some colleges in France have been on strike for more than four weeks now. In a joint declaration French and German students orgs declared December 13th as a European day of action, not only against education but against cuts in general. They ask activists in the uk to join them on the 13th. Inspired by the big demo against cuts in welfare and health in Berlin on November, 11th and by the ESF in Paris more and more colleges go on strike. Students show no sign of fatigue and not only are the strikes spreading but the form of protest is becomig more militant. Ministerial offices, official buildings, tv-studios, party HQs, meetings of politicians, a meeting of the board of industry have been put to short and effective sieges or short occupations. What´s more important industrial workers will support the demo on the 13th, already there have been some walk outs.
