Bush peddles instruments of torture, former Joint Chiefs of Staff advisor blows whistle on anthrax vaccine deaths, rightwing Congressperson claims his divorce due to "women in hoods." and More!

Former Fighter Pilot and Joint Chiefs of Staff Policy Analyst Reveals Pentagon Suppression of Truth in Military Vaccine Deaths "Rachel Lacy’s story is simple. She received five shots in one day and later became ill and died. In her case, the Army's admission comes after seven months of denials that vaccines caused her death. Dr. Winkenwerder asserts that her death is a "rare and tragic case," but investigations by United Press International and CBS News suggest that there have been a rash of unexplained deaths and illnesses among both deployed and non-deployed soldiers following vaccination. For instance, the Army has attempted to attribute pneumonia deaths overseas to Iraqi cigarettes and dust, when virtually identical cases have occurred in domestically based soldiers who were vaccinated. The Army ignores the possibility that these deaths were caused by vaccines, despite Navy doctors having linked anthrax vaccine to a pneumonia-like autoimmune disorder called hypersensitivity pneumonitis. " http://www.tompaine.com/feature2.cfm/ID/9530 Newly Declassified Document Adds Yet More Evidence Of Kissinger War Crimes

"At the height of the Argentine military junta's bloody ''dirty war'' against leftists in the 1970s, then-Secretary of State Henry Kissinger told the Argentine foreign minister that ''we would like you to succeed,'' a newly declassified U.S. document reveals. The transcript of the meeting between Kissinger and Navy Adm. César Augusto Guzzetti in New York on Oct. 7, 1976, is the first documentary evidence that the Gerald Ford administration approved of the junta's harsh tactics, which led to the deaths or ''disappearance'' of some 30,000 people from 1975 to 1983.The document is also certain to further complicate Kissinger's legacy, which has been questioned in recent years as new evidence has emerged on his connection to human-rights violations around the world -- including in Chile, Indonesia and Bangladesh.Kissinger and several top deputies have repeatedly denied condoning human-rights abuses in Argentina." http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/1204-01.htm For More about Kissinger's dedicated career of evil, see: Henry Kissinger" Bloody Hands Full of Gold http://www.newsinsider.org/seal/bloody_hands_full_of_gold.html Incredible! GOP's Ballenger Blamed Women in Scarves for His Failed Marriage! "The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) filed the lawsuit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in response to an October 2003 Charlotte Observer newspaper article in which Rep. Cass Ballenger (R-NC) claimed the stress of living near CAIR in Washington, D.C., caused the breakup of his marriage. Ballenger said that proximity to CAIR “bugged the hell” out of his wife. He said his wife also objected to women “wearing hoods” [traditional Muslim scarves] going in and out of CAIR's Capitol Hill headquarters. CAIR is seeking $2 million in compensatory and punitive damages, together with costs and attorney’s fees. " Can you believe these rightwingnuts? Limbaugh blames liberals for his drug additction, blames his murderous driving habits on diabetes. Now Ballenger blames women in scarves for his divorce. Pathetic!! http://www.salaam.co.uk/news/displaynews.php?news_id=218094 Bush Administration Promotes Sales of Torture Devices to Saudi Arabia and other Torture-Friendly Nations "The administration of U.S. President George W. Bush is violating the spirit of its own export policy by approving the sale of tools to countries known to use them to torture detainees, according to new report released here Tuesday by Amnesty International. In 2002, U.S. exports of electro-shock weapons and restraints that can be used for torture amounted to some US$14.7 dollars and $4.4 million, respectively, according to the report, titled "The Pain Merchants." Along with the sales of such equipment, Washington is also reported to have handed over suspects in the ''war on terror'' to the same countries." Bush recently approved the sale of 10,000 leg irons to Saudi Arabia. UNBELIEVABLE! http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/1203-05.htm Children and Elderly Will Pay for Flu Vaccine Shortage Caused by Bush's Alliance with Greed-Driven Drug Industry Right now, as the worst flu season in decades is already hitting many states, there is a shortage of vaccines. In fact, there is a shortage of ALL childhood immunization vaccines. Why? Because Bush has made it much more profitable for the pharmaceutical industry to devote resources to developing 'anti-bioterrorism' treatments, by peddling their wares to a captive audience - vaccines and medicines to US troops, or sucking up plentiful Bush biotech research dollars. As a result, too few companies are bothering with real and immediate needs of Americans. Just like Bush. What a nice follow-up "present" to the Medifraud Bill. http://www.cdc.gov/nip/news/shortages/default.htm#why White House Caught in Fabricated Tale of Air Force One Flight "The White House on Wednesday changed its account of a widely reported encounter between Air Force One and a British Airways jetliner during Bush's secret trip to Baghdad last week. Dan Bartlett, the White House communications director, told reporters the British Airways pilot had spotted [Air Force One] and radioed its pilot. But on Wed. Scott McClellan said the conversation took place between the BA pilot and the London control tower, and had been overheard on Air Force One. In Bartlett's original version, the BA pilot had radioed the [Bush] plane, asking: 'Did I just see Air Force One?' Mr Bartlett said Air Force One's pilot radioed back, 'Gulfstream 5', a smaller jet that would be all but impossible to mistake for a B-747. After a longer pause, the British Airways pilot responded: 'Oh.' BA, which denied that one of its planes had contacted Air Force One, said it could not confirm the new account " http://straitstimes.asia1.com.sg/world/story/0,4386,223588,00.html DeLay and Bush Headed For Showdown? Bush Backs Geneva Initiative the Same Day DeLay Denounces It Looks like there's no honor - or apparently even peace - among theives. Today, in US Newswire, Tom DeLay dumped a press release in which he "denounced" the "So-Called Geneva Initiative" - an alternative Middle East Pease plan worked out by Palestinian and Israeli moderates. Here's a sample of DeLay's statement: "House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) today rejected the unofficial, so-called "Geneva Plan" for the Middle East as illegitimate and dangerous, and urged world leaders to do the same." Then, less than six hours later, Arab News ran this headline: "Bush Backs Geneva Initiative." The report quoted Bush on the Initiative: “I think it’s productive, so long as they adhere to the principles” of that internationally drafted blueprint (road map)." Well, folks, looks like we're going to get a chance to see who really runs the White House! If Bush backs away from his statement, then all doubt will be removed...DeLay wears the White House pants. http://www.arabnews.com/?page=4&section=0&article=35952&d=5&m=12&y=2003 For more on DeLay see "Beyond Redemption: The Crimes of Tom DeLay" http://baltimore.indymedia.org/newswire/display/5640/index.php "And Now for something completely different....." "It was just a normal-size party balloon and it was an accident. You'd make more noise closing the door of a police car." Pulido's trip into the ticket twilight zone began innocently the afternoon of Nov. 22 when he took his wife, Christina, 27, an accountant, and sons, Chris, 9, and Brandon, 19 months, to a kid's birthday party at a friend's home in the neighborhood.Chris was holding a party balloon on a string as the family walked home when it suddenly got away from him at Parsons Blvd. and 105th St., hit the sidewalk and popped. "Three cops were at the curb in a car and one of them called me over and said he was giving me a ticket," Pulido said.He said he asked the cop, "Are you serious? You're gonna give me a ticket for balloon popping?""The cop gave me a hard look and asked me, 'Do you think popping a balloon is funny?'" Pulido recalled. "At that point I just said just give me the ticket...whatever." http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/142670p-126326c.html TWISTED PHOTO SECTION "And under my new "Healthy Forests" plan, we'll thin out any tree that gets taller than this one here." http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/031204/photos_pl/mdf420001&e=5&ncid=27 "I am not paranoid!"
