Due to much momentum and visits to StoptheWall.org, which have been steadily increasing since its launching almost two months ago, the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign moved the website StoptheWall.org to a dedicated web-server this week. This means we have increased space to meet the needs of the Campaign’s dissemination of resources, information and activist tools to groups globally. Additionally this week, the Campaign has launched more site sections for resources about the Apartheid Wall and Campaign. Please note that the change in servers did result in a minor loss of information that had been posted over the last week, most all of which has now been reposted. Thanks for being patient. We hope that once the move is finalized it will be well worth it.

New Sections to StoptheWall.org

Mainstream Media

In order to highlight coverage of the Apartheid Wall available from mainstream media outlets, the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign has created a new section at StoptheWall.org called Mainstream Media. In this section, carefully selected articles pertinent to the Wall and related issues will be posted. Over ten articles from throughout the month of November have already been linked, including pieces from Al Jazeera, the Guardian Unlimited, Reuters, and the Telegraph. Video Footage

The Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign is excited about the launch of our new Video Footage page at StoptheWall.org. Here we will broadcast important footage from events and developments on the ground in Palestine as well as from around the globe. Check out the site today to view a video clip from the November 9th demonstration in Ramallah, the largest mobilization in Palestine on the National and International Day of Action. Newsletter

In this section, we will provide English translations of the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign’s Arabic Nashra (newsletter in Arabic). The Nashra is a powerful tool being used to share information and mobilize here in Palestine and we hope that by making this resource available, we offer another way to consistently highlight the destructive reality of the Wall as well as the ever-increasing resistance to it. Worldwide Activism

StoptheWall.org’s Worldwide Activism section is growing every day with exciting news of demonstrations, actions and solidarity campaigns across the globe. In addition to ongoing report backs form the November 9th Day of Action, we have recently posted news about additional activities across Europe as part of the November 29th International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. Community Voices

Hani Amer is 46 years old from Mas-ha village, in the northwest of Salfit district. Amer and his eight family members live in a 165m² house, from the western side of the house expands the Israeli settlement Elkana; now the Apartheid Wall is being built to pass from Amer’s house and land, under the pretext as one of the many things that threaten “Israel’s securityâ€.
