According to reports form the Greek radio station SKAI, the Thessaloniki 7 will be released today. This happened after the public prosecutor issued an order for compulsory feeding earlier today.

Maria Legaki, a member of the legal team confirmed on radio SKAI that all 7 prisoners have been released without bail, but under a number of conditions.
Those who are not Greek have to stay in Greece until the trial. The three Greek prisoners cannot leave Greece and have to pay regular visits to a police station.

According to the radio, they will have to spend some weeks in hospital until they are better.

Volunteers from indymedia Athens and the London based Thessaloniki Prisoner Support Group have confirmed the reports, following telephone conversations with members of the legal team.

A report on indymedia athens says:

"This is a victory of the struggle for dignity and freedom by the 5 hunger strikers, of the other 2 prisoners, but as well for the thousands of people that stood up for them all over the world!! It is an outright defeat for the greek state-repression complex, and for the global "anti-terror" mechanisms."
